Queen Mab's The Label, founded in Bangalow, NSW in 2016, has evolved into a brand that celebrates individuality and creativity with unique fabrics and designs. The journey started with a passion for crafting distinctive pieces that empower individuals to express their personal style. If you're interested in learning our craft, we offer beginner and intermediate dressmaking classes at our studios in Lismore, NSW, please see the Calendar for class schedurles and the Enrolment page to purchase classes in sets of 4 weeks.

"Learning with Susan at Queen Mab's has been a real gift. She is incredibly skilled, patient, and encouraging, and the studio itself is a beautiful historic space with a long garment making history. Classes are hands-on from the start, and you learn the full process, from choosing fabrics to adapting patterns, cutting, sewing, adjusting and finishing your projects. The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, and everyone works a their own pace. Many people have a sewing machine gathering dust at home waiting for "one day". Queen Mab's is where that day can finally happen. An inspiring space, and exceptional teacher, and a great way to bring your creativity back to life"

Still relatively new to sewing? Continue to establish a working knowledge of the essentials of dressmaking and garment construction in a relaxed, supportive environment—how to get the most out of your domestic sewing machine, read patterns, cut fabric, and create some seasonal handmade garments.
For Intermediate Sewers and those of you who have advanced of the past 6 months of sewing…
